Below listed are infractions that will negate your employment opportunity with Yale Enforcement Services, Inc., however, the list is not all inclusive:
- Any felony conviction.
- Three (3) Moving violations in the past three (3) years.
- DUI/DWI within the past three (3) years.
- No more than two (2) misdemeanor convictions within the last five (5) years.
- No misdemeanor conviction for theft, assault, criminal mischief, shoplifting, violence, drugs (possession or use), criminal threatening, or any firearm related offenses.
- Currently on probation or parole for any offense.
- Any pending criminal charges.
If any of the above applies, you may forgo completing the employment application process.
Must meet state, city, county or parish licensing requirements.
If no state security license is required, minimum of 21 years of age for driving posts. 25 years of age for mobile patrol officers. Must have a valid Drivers License or State I.D.
Must have a Social Security card, Immigration Card, or Passport.
Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Must pass a drug test.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
Must have the ability to work long hours (up to 12) standing & walking for long periods of time, handle situations that may require offensive and/or defensive physical force responses.
Read, write and communicate in fluent English.
Read and comprehend directions, write a legible response, communicate with other employees, clients, their employees and customers.
Must meet the minimum age requirement as mandated by the State for which you are applying. Must be physically, and psychologically able to deal with situations that will occur on the job. Must have a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record if applying for a driving post. Be available for scheduled shifts on holidays and weekends.
